Indian Coffee Taste Characteristics

India is unique in that all its coffee is grown entirely under-shade. Typically mild and not too acidic, these coffees possess an exotic full-bodied taste and a fine aroma.

Monsooned Malabar AA: This is a very unique dry-processed coffee where the beans are exposed for several months to the moisture laden monsoon winds, during which time the beans swell and change color. Monsooning reduces the acidity and enhances sweetness. This allows the coffee to be light roasted to preserve its unique subtle earthy flavor, while delivering a full bodied experience. This coffee is often a component of espresso blends.
