AretaCoffee roasts in small batches to ensure freshness, but this adds technical complexity to the process. We have developed our own proprietary roasting technology that lets us do this and get repeatable results. We test roast each coffee to determine the "degree of roast" that gives us the best cup of coffee, or as we say flavor profile; light through dark. This is a subjective process that follows established cupping standards. Once we have determined the roast profile for a given coffee we are able to replicate it time after time on a small or larger batch level.
